Michael P. McCafferty focuses his practice primarily in the areas of business litigation, contract representation and negotiation, small business advising, and domestic relations/family law matters.  Mike is a 2004 graduate of Vanderbilt University Law School.  At Vanderbilt, Mike received the Scholastic Excellence Award for his accomplishments in the area of Small Business Management as well as the Legal Service Award for his work in the Nashville legal community.  Mike also earned a Certificate of Specialization in Law and Business from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Mike was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, graduating from St. Xavier High School before moving on to Miami University. At Miami, Mike earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance. Mike was admitted to the Ohio Bar in November 2004, the Federal Bar for the Southern District of Ohio in February 2005, and the Kentucky Bar in May 2005.

Mike’s background in the areas of law and finance provides him with a unique perspective on many matters, a perspective that he is able to utilize across his areas of practice.  Mike has lectured at both The University of Cincinnati College of Law and Northern Kentucky University’s Salmon P. Chase Chase College of Law.

Mike has also been licensed as a Certified Contract Advisor by the NFL Players Association since 2010. As an agent, Mike has negotiated player contracts with various NFL franchises and has handled a wide array of other contractual matters for his clients.
